For many years, at UCB we have responded to the changing needs for better healthcare. Whether in neurology, immunology, rare diseases, or the emerging field of gene therapies, we collaborate closely with patients and key stakeholders to understand the true unmet needs for people living with a wide range of conditions, to be able to leverage new technologies and pioneer innovative. Our scientists collaborate with a diverse range of leading researchers from academia, medical charities and industry to advance science and provide the solutions patients need.
Our UK strategic R&D site focuses on a wide range of immunology therapies. A total of four new drugs have been discovered to date in the UK alone, while a further five antibodies that were created here went on to be developed by our colleagues around the world. We are committed partnering with the NHS and we recognise the importance of collaboration to deliver innovative solutions for our patients.
Globally, UCB is inspired to discover, develop and deliver solutions that help make real improvements to the lives of people living with severe neurological conditions. Working in close collaboration with patients, their caregivers and healthcare professionals, as well as our scientific experts, patient partners and business leaders, UCB have developed the NeuroInsider series, about the science driving our ambitions.
